Bonding and Maternity Leave

 

DriveTime knows how important it is for parents to bond with their new baby. For this reason, we offer the following paid bonding leave to employees with at least one year of employment as of the date their leave begins.

To receive your bonding leave time payout you will need to complete the Bonding/Maternity form and submit with your newborn baby's proof of birth via fax to (866)-665-7197 ATTN: Leave Department.

Newborn Bonding Leave Pay

- Both new mothers and new fathers who have at least one year of employment with DriveTime are eligible to receive one week (5 consecutive days) of paid time off at their regular base rate of pay.

Mother's Child Birth Recovery Leave Pay

- New Mothers can recceive paid time off at their regular base rate of pay for the recovery from child birth:

  • 1 week at the regulary base rate of pay, eligible to employees who have at least one year of employment.
  • 2 weeks at the regular base rate of pay, eligible to employees who have ate least three years of employment

 

NOTE: ALL MATERNITY AND BONDING TIME SHOULD BE TAKEN AS CONSECUTIVE DAYS, NOT INTERMITTENTLY
